I have just downloaded google sketchup. This is a really cool program. I have only just started playing around with it but WOW. I am not sure how my project will turn out but I do feel that it is more user friendly than our last project. Also I think that I don't have to study Japanese anymore I have more time to devote to this project.

- I have a wonderful husband and two great kids. I have a daughter about to go to high school and a son about to go to middle school. My husband is in the US Air Force, and will retire in 5.5 years. So I decided to go back to school and try to get a certificate in graphic design. I am really into making cakes, sewing, drawing, painting, and learning new ways to use the computer to do art.
I downloaded this program too, but I haven't had time yet to play around with it. What's your favorite thing that the program does?Where did you find this picture? It's pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteI like that you can pull a box and it grows to 3D. Also that you get a 360 degree view.
ReplyDeleteI have only played a little with it. My kids think that because I don't actually have to go to school that I am free to drive them everywhere. Maybe I should create a taxi.

I am really excited about this program too. Never thought that drawing a chair could be so much fun! My 10 year old son heard me describing it to a friend and he immediately hopped on himself. I cannot wait to see his creations - this is right up his alley!
